Family Transition Place has hosted a luncheon – The Hope Project – the last two Septembers to help raise funds for their women’s shelter. In conjunction with the day, they publish a magazine. I have been honoured to art direct and design the magazine. The cover is featured here, and the entirety of the magazine is available […]
What’s not to love about making nifty small newspaper ads for a pretty groovy audio boutique? I am plum delighted with how these have turned out.
Caldeon Mountain Wildlife Supply (CMWS) is a recent addition to my project files. So far, we’ve made a logo, a tagline and a number of ads for CMWS – all of which have been (wait for it) a hoot to create. My goodness, always such fun to do work that benefits nature.
Like stereos! (Okay, we recognize that that is a lame joke.) But seriously, we’ve also been doing work for a boutique audio retail store – a logo, an event poster and signage for the store. Retro groovy fun.
Cycling Elements is a great bike shop here in Orangeville, and this week I got to do a job for them. This is happiness. This ad is going to print today! Yay! Maybe this will help spring come? (She types, wistfully.)
A local real estate agent, Christopher Bol, is hosting a fundraising dinner, at One99 here in town, for the Ontario SPCA Orangeville and District Branch. So, I’ve created a magazine ad, and some posters for the dinner – and tickets for the event, too. The tickets seem to be the biggest hit (!), which makes […]
In 2011, retired police officer and Headwaters Health Care Centre (HHCC) volunteer Carl Spratt’s life was saved by the ER and CCU staff at HHCC. In a nonchalant narrative befitting a police officer, Carl told us exactly what happened. We captured it on video, added some Johnny Cash style music to keep it rollin’ along, […]
I love animals, and I love newspaper ads. I also love words. And shamelessly, I love pictures of animals that I can use for newspaper ads that go nicely with headlines and copy written to (hopefully) persuade people to adopt animals from the SPCA. I created a whole bunch of ads, posters and other pieces […]
A sweet ad for the Headwaters Health Care Foundation (HHCF). Did you know the government doesn’t fund the purchase of new equipment for hospitals? Neither did I, until I started working the the Foundation. In a small community, the hospital is vital, has to serve a large number of people, and be prepared for any […]
Dances of happiness around Sprout this afternoon, as we uploaded the most recent of the Headwaters Health Care Foundation video stories. This one’s about Ainsley, a 10 year old girl who has diabetes – and is living quite a full and lively life, thank you very much. She and her sister and her mom all […]
